Meta Quest 2: Open Grid

Challenge: Get 18–24-year-olds to see the Meta Quest 2 as an essential part of their college starter pack.  

Solution: Open Grid, a world built inside the Meta's Horizon Worlds that centers the Gen-Z experience. It eliminates the barriers of connectivity and fosters a like-minded community where Gen-Z can explore, connect, and create without limitation.

We designed three facets within Open Grid: The Block, HQ, and The Studio - each with their own purpose. As a designer, I was responsible for bringing the vision to life, as well as creating the digital, print, and media executions.

The Studio

15 sec. ad spot highlighting Studio Sessions held in partnership with Masterclass

A space *in Meta* where Gen Z can explore new interests without the fear of failure. In collaboration with Masterclass, explore new passions during experiential studio sessions led by world-class celebrities with a new lineup dropping each month.

The Block

The Block is home for all the events on the Grid. Attend weekly “Friday Fires” to kick back around the campfire, connect, and chat about what went down off grid. Look out for the biggest event to ever hit the VR world, the Block Party.
